Pine State Biscuits: You Chicken Fried My Heart ♥

Let the fun begins!

KUDOS to South American because I think they cook the best food. I have a thing for gravy and breakfast meals and let me introduce to you my most favorite breakfast place in Portland, Oregon.

Pine State Biscuits started in early 2008, opened and run by three awesome people; Walt, Kevin, and Brian. They first opened a small biscuit shop on Belmont Ave where people can enjoy a wholesome brunch 7 days a week. They now have 2 restaurants in Portland, OR the bigger branch is located in NE Alberta and their first ever Pine State Biscuits in SE Belmont. If you have a party of 2 people or less, I suggest you try and go to the SE Belmont because the ambience is more authentic while the bigger branch feels more modern.

They open 7 days a week from 7am - 2pm and they open late night 6pm - 1am on Fridays and Saturdays (only the NE Alberta's)

Reggie Deluxe (USD $8)
Crispy biscuit with fried chicken, bacon, cheese, and topped with gravy. To me this one whole meal is a piece of heaven because every bite tastes amazing. Sometimes I run out of the gravy sauce because I put too much in one slice. Can you feel the love?

Chicken Pot Pie (USD $7)
Who said healthy food tastes gross? Why pick eat something unappetizing when there's so much good food in this universe? Chicken pot pie is mixed vegetables (corn, carrots, and beans), fried chicken, and mushroom gravy topped with a biscuit crust. This one bowl of soup is equivalent to one entree meal.
